We and another couple (best friends) hired a great driver, Lonnie Smith, for the first day of our October trip to Napa. He recommended Trespass and it was the best Cabernet of the trip. Donny was great but his leather bag of wine was better. We enjoyed our select tasting session on the relaxed patio setting. The wines were all good but we were really impressed with the '12 and '13 cabs. Knocked our socks off! Like another reviewer, our group was split 50/50 which year was better but both were the best we tasted during that 4 day trip to Napa/Sonoma. Ordered and recently reordered split cases of the '12 and '13 Cabernet.
Trespass consistently wins when our family does blind taste tests. We are typically comparing it with some of the best too (e.g. Caymus). I don’t typically leave reviews, but this is favorite wine on the planet.
We visited 9 winiries this trip, easily one of the very best we visited. Between our 2 couples we bought 3 cases! Excellent wines!
I don't know how anyone rates Trespass as one star without explaining. This is a small winery that makes some amazing wines.
