We were greeted with delicious bubbles upon arrival and a warm smile. Katie was an incredible host. She served us a variety of delicious wines and the tasting was never ending. She was extremely knowledgeable with the property and the vinification process. We left feeling informed and absolutely satisfied (and a little drunk! Haha). We very much enjoyed their red and white mixed wines, and the stories behind the creation of them. Sometimes wine, like friendship and family, turns out to be the perfect blend. Cheers!
Great wines. Pinot noir was exceptional here. Rose of Pinot Noir was simply stunning. This will become another regular stop on my visits to Napa. Be sure to make reservations though.
Our group of 6 spent a couple of hours here yesterday. There was a mix up with our driver who was supposed to schedule a tasting, but we didn't end up on the calendar at Calmére. However, the folks at Calmére weren't the least bit fazed. We had a wonderful experience. Melinda, one of the managers there, was an absolute gem. There were at least 2 other groups there and she had the ability to make each group feel as if they had her sole attention. One person in our group commented how lucky Calmére was to have her working for them. As a business owner myself, I can tell you that an employee like Melinda is an asset to a company. The wines were spectacular. So many tasty samples. Highly recommend this place.
Dog friendly but also the girls were the stars! My wife's first wine tasting and they made it special. Non rushed and Barlow was able to sit with us on the patio the whole time. While I do not drink I grew up going to winnerys and I could tell my wife really enjoyed the wine so we signed up for the club. Look forward to returning sometime!
With hundreds of wineries and dozens of interesting restaurants, which ones do you decided to squeeze into a long weekend Napa trip!? As as soon as I read about LE Wine's one-of-a-kind cupcake and wine pairing experience I was convinced it was the perfect way to celebrate my birthday. I'm glad we came across this because this tasting is the perfect combination of fun and sweet! This spot was located in the Carneros region of Napa Valley with a beautiful modern tasting room and a vast outdoor deck space with stunning views. I was so fascinated with how they built the deck around the trees so the trunks come through the planking. For the tasting we enjoyed both the wines and from mini cupcakes from local Napa bakery Kara's Cupcakes. The pairing was really interesting because you could really taste the wines actually changing in flavor profiles as you ate more of the sweet treat. Since my birthday is the week before Halloween, we even got a bit of added fun with the cupcakes decorated with spooky sugar toppers. The interior space was beautiful with a fun home decor gift shop selection. The staff was so friendly and even gave us a insightful walking tour through the back where they age the wine. I would really recommend this spot for a stop where you can find delicious wine, escape the crowds and take your time with your tasting. The outdoor space was one of the most relaxing spots we visited in Napa.
