Not so many years ago I was buying this wine at a great value. I tasted a bottle and then bought a few cases. Now, it seems they know what they have and they charge accordingly. My local store won't carry them anymore. Hey, I can find much better wine for the price. Yeah, I can get as good a wine as Opus for what this place charges. But hey, if these guys can can get the money for what they have now then more power to them. I'd charge as much as I could get too. I might buy one of these for nostalgia but that's as far as it goes. Not to knock them, if they can get the money and people pay it, I'd love to sell an above average wine at premium prices. I'm not not knocking their wines, they are good, just not at what they ask. I can find much better value for laying down a few cases.
In the early 1960's I was a caretaker at Marston Vineyards. It was an awesome job and the Vineyard is beautiful and well, I helped in all phases of the wine production...I also took care of Elizabeth one day for a few hours when she was 2 years old. She was a sweet smart adorable child and I'm so happy that she is succesful.
Amazing visit with Elizabeth (the owner). Spectacular and authentic wines worthy of any Napa wine cellar.
Amazing People, amazing Wine, lovely... nothing more to say!
