Beyond 5* event. Wines were amazing but the hospitality that Lydia showed was beyond amazing. Thanks a million Lydia. Looking forward to enjoying the Estate wine.
Awesome "hidden" gem. Property is beautiful. Lily was very informative & fun during our tasting. Got to meet Kelly & her pups. The wines were awesome!! One of our fav stops while in Napa Valley.
One of the most exquisite boutique wineries in the Napa Valley. While not as well known as the larger wineries it's a must visit on any upscale boutique winery tour. The several hundreds of feet of wine caves Ms Fleming blasted into the hillside is worth a visit on its own!
One of the cooler tasting experiences I've had. Kelly herself hosted us, and told us about her background and the operation. The tasting room and entire winery facility is absolutely gorgeous and incredibly functional. This is what happens when you a build a winery ground-up with a vision and a means to make the vision come true. As Kelly said, the only reason they make sauv blanc is so they don't have to serve other folks' white wines with their events. It was a great sauv blanc though, with more mouth feel and fruit than your typical Napa sb. Some oak notes as well, but not so much as some of the over the top chards (which I love...). A nice balanced white wine. The cab though, is where its at. The cab was absolutely outstanding, and worth every penny. Balanced, not too heavy on the fruit or the tannins. Could be one of my favorite cabs now! Big Pour is her Bordeaux style blend, and is reasonably priced to be a house red and an option for when you just don't quite want to open one of those special bottles.
I was greeted and treated to a tour by Lily. She was extremely informative and friendly. I visited several wineries and this was the only that offered a full tour during Covid times. Would recommend fully.
