In my opinion, Inglenook has the best wine tasting experience. The connoisseur is very knowledgeable and gives us space to taste and chat. The property is amazingly beautiful and all the memorabilia is amazing! Did you know that Francis Ford Coppola is the current owner of Inglenook? This is a great place to take your date, too!
Do yourself a favor and splurge - enjoy the Estate Library Tasting. The library is an amazing setting to enjoy these wines and the accompaniments that go with them. And while Frances name might not be on the building, his collection of books and art adorn the walls of this Franco pavilion. The wines were extortionary and as expected the staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
This was one of our favorite tours in Napa. We opted for the cave tour and tasting. I highly recommend our host, Laura N. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. We learned a lot about the history of both the winery and the valley as walked through their upgraded cave system, part of the vineyard, then to a beautiful tasting room that included some light snacks as we sampled the wines. We felt like VIPs during the whole experience. We also had to make a last minute change to our reservation to add two more to our party, and they were so accommodating. The cabs and the Rubicon continue to be a favorite of my husband and I, and to top it off, we were pleasantly surprised by their Blanceneaux. We brought some bottles home!! Laura added a personal touch by sending us a handwritten thank you note following our visit. Inglenook will definitely be a winery that we visit again during our Napa travels!!
We really enjoyed the unique caves here, fully upgraded in 2023, these are easily the most modern caves we have seen in napa. Our guide was very friendly, and the chateau is beautiful. Wines were pricey compared to what we'd seen in europe, charcuterie board was a nice touch. We would have liked to learn a little more about the ancient history of winemaking, the origins of winemaking, etc, like we had learned at other wineries, but that bears no impact on the positive experience we had here!
Inglenook Winery is a gem near Saint Helena, and it stood out as the best winery during our trip. The chateau's old French charm, both in architecture and interior design, was breathtaking. Our guide/sommelier was exceptionally attentive and knowledgeable, adding depth to the winemaking experience. The tasting showcased top-notch wines. However, the frustration began with confusing instructions for getting there; a missing QR code led to circling the property and unresponsive reception. Despite the hiccup, the overall winery experience was outstanding.
