Manny was the best. Wine, view, cheese. #SMD truly one of the best.
Manny was great! Wine was amazing! #SMD
My wife and I decided on Frias Family Vineyards for our first wine tasting of the day and we were glad we did! Dan is a great host who's knowledgeable of the area and of course the wine. Manny Frias Jr., co-owner happened to be there and decided to sit with us and we had a great 2 hour personal conversation. We talked wine and the family history. I've never been to a wine tasting where every bottle of Cab we tried was great, it kept getting better and better. It was hard to chose but a case of Prado later, we were happy we did. The only problem we encounter was, all the other wine tasting we did for the weekend were compared to Frias wines and no others came close to consistency and taste. Looking forward to coming back to visit Frias Family Vineyards in June with my family and friends.
I love this place! From the time we entered the door until the time we left, we felt 100% awesome! Manny is an amazing host. The wines are super tasty! I had an order shipped to my office. I'm about to place another order! I love the smoothness of this wine!
This was our absolute favorite part of visiting Napa Valley! My boss knows one of the owners, Fern and recommended that we visit. They quickly and easily arranged a private tasting for us and it was beautifully set up in their tasting room. I was in charge of choosing vineyards and tasting rooms for a group of four of us during our stay in Napa and everyone agreed this was not even comparable to anywhere else we went. It was on a different level. Part of me was glad we did the Frias tasting first because Aaron did such a great job teaching us about the wines, tasting and other epic places to visit in Napa (including Redd Wood which was our favorite restaurant). Then there was a part of me that was disappointed that we didn't save it for last because I compared every wine tasting to the Frias tasting and there was not one that matched our experience here. Aaron took his time, answered all of our questions, talked about the history of the Frias Family Vineyard and just was a down to earth host. We did make one mistake of visiting Frias at 10am on empty stomachs. This wine tasting is not the typical rip off, tourist trap like the other places in Tampa. All of the wines we tasted were extremely generous pours and we definitely left a little tipsy. This was the first and last tasting on our first day in Napa and not one of us could complain about it! We are Frias fans for life and look forward to ordering many more bottles of their wine and visiting this tasting room again. Thank you Aaron for hosting an epic tasting and Fern for setting it up for us!
