As our final winery stop of the day, we visited Domaine Carneros for a champagne tasting, and it was a perfect ending to our day. The champagne flights we sampled were exquisite, offering unique and delightful flavors. The cheese board and smoked salmon were outstanding, and they were a perfect match for the sparkling wines. Our visit to Domaine Carneros in Napa Valley was exceptional. We enjoyed a variety of wine tastings, each one more delightful than the last. The quality and presentation of the wines truly exceeded our expectations. The beautiful estate and serene ambiance made the experience even more memorable. Reservations are a must to avoid the queue and ensure a seamless visit. Overall, it was an outstanding experience, and we highly recommend it to any wine enthusiast.
The prices were way reasonable, the atmosphere was very friendly, people were generally dressed more in more of a "high tea" or "country club" style, and the wait staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. We never got asked for a tip or were pushed to rush or buy more. Oh, we also took pictures to announce our pregnancy, and the staff went out of their way to help us out!
Very lovely experience. The winery is beautiful. We decided to do a wine tasting with food pairings and it was great! The staff is very kind, they showed us how to properly pop a bottle with a sword (or heavy knife). Great experience in Napa, would definitely recommend.
Beautiful estate, beautiful vineyard. But the wine tasting was lacking and not personal due to it being soooo busy. My server changed 3 times?? I was told the staff that was supposed to help us is on break, so the hostess took our order. Then after tastings were poured, another man came to serve us, then another man. We got a flight of bubbles and a flight of reds to try. The bubbles were great and it’s what they are known for. It’s on the more expensive side and we are pretty packed outside. I would check out other wineries after coming here once. Total bill was around $160, we purchased a bottle of bubbly wine.
